As part of the CES 2017 exhibition, Samsung has provided its new models as plans for the future. In 2017, such firms as Sony and Panasonic, like LG, tried themselves in OLED technologies and introduced new OLED models at CES 2017. Samsung did not go "on the brink" of OLED technology, introduced by its direct competitor, but on the contrary, continued to develop Their QLED technologies started earlier.
Thus, the company is trying to keep the brand so that the general dominance of OLED does not come. Everyone knows that OLED technology is not only advanced, but also expensive. Samsung tried to prove that it is possible and with the help of SUHD to be at least equal, if not the best. The new TVs introduced by Samsung are Q9, Q8, Q7 series on quantum dots.
Immediately mention that the model Q7 from Samsung at CES 2017 was not presented. However, it is possible to guess what it will be. It is also known that, like the old models, the name will contain four digits. Each series will include both flat and curved displays.
For example, if the flat screen is designated Q8, then the curved screen is Q8C (where C is Curved). Additional entries in the names of these models (for regions), most likely, will not be either. The firm stated that it will be able to satisfy the quality of the product for any buyer of 4K products, but there has been no official announcement about the additional designations.
When it comes to the quality of the video, Samsung surely declares that the proper quality is available. The Q9 and Q8 series can reproduce the movie standard (DCI-P3) with 100% color space quality. Parameter 1500-2000 nits at peak brightness will allow to perceive the expanded dynamic range (HDR) even more qualitatively.
The manufacturer assures that reproduction of images in comparison with models of 2016 will be unequivocally better. In addition, the LCD structure on quantum dots has been improved, and the viewing angles in SUHD will become even wider.
QLED TVs Q9, Q8 and Q7 in 2017 will be even smarter than ever before. The control of the TV will be more simple and intuitive. Thanks to the same remote, Smart Remote will be even more convenient to manage the viewed content. There is a new application Smart View, which expands the Smart Hub for mobile devices. Thanks to this application it is possible to send additional information or put bookmarks on the timer. Thus, the viewer will not miss the start of his favorite shows.
Unlike the 2015 and 2016 models, the manufacturer decided to give QLED TVs Q9, Q8 and Q7 a special design. This mainly affected the stands. A standard stand for these models is included. However, like the wall mount, which is usually sold for an additional fee, it is possible to purchase one of several types of stands.
We buy a car and choose the color and lining of the cabin. Approximately so and here, although more to fit the equipment from the manufacturer Loewe. One of the supports can be rotated using the control panel. The second stand contains a set of cables, thereby creating a "wireless design". This "cable duct" is especially good for wall mounting. The latter has its own name "Q Style". It provides a minimum distance between the TV and the wall.
Once for Samsung it was very important that its technology be called QLED. Note that the names of QLED and OLED are not only written very similar, but their pronunciation is also small in pronunciation. Such abbreviations often lead to confusion. Therefore, the names of Samsung models often refer to the term SUHD. In any case, we buy a TV set so that it shows quality, and not because of the letters in its name.
