First, LG is known as Gold Star Luck Chemistral. And she produced first not TV, not receivers and displays. While the company started with a face cream.

In 1947, Qu Ying Hve constitutes Luck Chemical Industries. As mentioned above, we started with a face cream, toothpaste but became a hit. Toothpaste Lucky has become so popular that its name has become synonymous. Any toothpaste is associated with that name.

At that time, the main task was to range extension. The company produces cream, toothpaste, washing products, detergents, etc. Postwar Korea this product absorbed well and the business grew. Revolution was the plastic packaging. Abandoned metal and porcelain. Not surprisingly, such products have become cheaper and competitors lamented.

consumer electronics development started in 1958, when the first factory was opened GoldStar. In the post-war Korea was not only toothpaste and radios. Due to the fact that the government has supported manufacturers, already in 1961 there was the first Korean phone.

Company cherished plans for export. Since 1961, Korea was the course of industrialization, intending to provide a variety of goods all over the world. The stake was made on the frames: hard-working, persistent, purposeful. It worked, and now no one doubts the industrial development of Korea.

Further, the Company turned in a big way. Began production of refrigerators, fans, washing machines, television sets, electric carriers, air conditioners and even… elevators. And yet this was the first in Korea. That is, none of these things previously not released.

The seventies - is the success of the external market and the release of the first tape in Korea, the first color television, opening factories and co-companies such as NEC, Siemens, Hitachi.

And then there was the oil crisis… But it is, in principle, did not affect the policy of the Company aimed at export. For example, in 1982 it opened the first factory in the United States for the production of color TV sets. This decision was taken on the grounds that haul to the US color TV, at that time a very expensive product, it was very expensive. Simply improvise on the spot. And Americans like to watch videos and eat. Therefore, this plant soon began producing VCRs and microwave ovens.

The company opened its offices in European countries: to open a factory in Germany, where all of the same color TVs produced.

The recent history of the Company - is a history of constant evolution of home appliances, represented in numerous countries around the world, and the good moments, like the invention of 3G standard, which you use to this day.

LG-Display

Have you noticed that above we do not say a word about the most interesting - LCD-TVs and when they get there? Kindly read:

LG-Display was founded in 1985. And from the outset, as the name suggests, I was fascinated by the development of LCD-displays. While it was a very promising direction. After all, if any screen that is not convex, looked great. It’s now to like we are used to and do not pay attention.

In 1995, the first factory for the mass production of LCD-panels was built. Always a little amusing to read the story of how once manufacturers were proud to have produced 4 million displays first in the world. Now this figure is, of course, no surprise.

In 2003, the Company ranked first among LCD-panel manufacturers. And about that time, production reached 3 million panels per month.

In 2006 it represented the dream of anyone who talks to his TV - 100 inch panel. The Japanese have long been nervous about Korean companies, but then everything was quite sad. And the following year the Koreans presented a flexible color e-paper, by the way, for her future.

In 2010, already represented by electronic paper newspaper format. Only recently we talked with a colleague that time would have to start selling electronic wallpaper, as it would facilitate the choice of wallpaper…

Then, in 2010, it was presented to the polarization technology 3D, which is now used in all LCD-TVs LG. And this is very serious advantage of LG TVs.

Enumerate, how many technologies invented by the Company, then spend a lot of time. What can we say, but even for Retina displays of iPads that the whole world admires and tries to discern which pixels are made of LG. By the way have you tried to consider a pixel on the display Retina? I have tried, without a magnifying glass you can not see.

As for our future with you, it is almost come, then we can confidently say that soon you will witness the emergence of new OLED-TVs, which will be closer to the customer. Of course, they will become thinner, showing realistic gradually go away somewhere frame around the screen, but the most important thing - it is a revolution of our perception of the TV.
